European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (UEMS/EACCME)

The ATTD AID GCC School, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 18/09/2026 – 19/09/2026, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 11.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that were actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS): www.uems.eu

American Medical Association (AMA)

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)

Healthcare professionals registered with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) may apply for recognition of their participation and related CME/CPD hours through the Mumaris+ platform.

Participants should upload their certificate of attendance through the Recognition and Self-Directed Learning service in Mumaris+. The certificate will indicate the number of educational hours awarded and, subject to approval of the accreditation application, will include a declaration of the event’s UEMS-EACCME accreditation.

Recognition of the hours is subject to the requirements and approval of the SCFHS. Participants are responsible for submitting their certificates through their individual Mumaris+ accounts.

Educational Objectives

After participating in this educational event, learners should be able to:

• Address individual needs in compliance with participants’ Continuous Professional Development (CPD) plans.
• Analyse barriers to the adoption of automated insulin delivery systems in the GCC and compare regional practices with international standards.
• Evaluate the clinical benefits and appropriate use of automated insulin delivery across different patient profiles and stages of diabetes care.
• Interpret continuous glucose monitoring and automated insulin delivery data to optimise therapy and manage exercise, illness, fasting, school activities and other clinical scenarios.
• Apply evidence-based strategies to support treatment initiation, individualise system settings, strengthen care-team confidence and expand the use of automated insulin delivery in clinical practice.

Target Audience

The principal intended recipients are fully qualified medical specialists in adult and pediatric endocrinology and diabetology from GCC countries, particularly consultants and experienced specialist physicians involved in the management of people with type 1 diabetes. The program is especially relevant to senior clinicians responsible for insulin pump and automated insulin delivery services, including those seeking to strengthen their knowledge of AID functionality, clinical optimization, interpretation of device data, and strategies for increasing adoption in routine practice.

To Receive Your CME/CPD Certificate

The CME/CPD certificate will be available after completing the online evaluation and credit-claiming procedure. The process takes about 5 minutes. We thank you for your feedback as it is an important part of CME/CPD accreditation and helps improve future educational offerings.

Before 19^th of October 2026:

1. Access the online system via the following link
2. Complete the anonymous online evaluation
3. Enter your email address (conference registration email) and Registration ID during the credit-claiming process
4. Complete the credit claim form and submit

• The CME/CPD certificate will be available for download and retained for your records.
• Please note that web browsers Mozilla Firefox 2.X or higher, or Google Chrome are recommended. Mobile devices are not supported.
• Kindly note that the ATTD AID GCC School 2026 online evaluation will be active on the last day of the meeting. You will then be able to access it and claim your CME/CPD certificate.
